What is Go-Play?
We recently won funding from Inspiring Scotland to set up our mobile play ranger service in East Ayrshire. The service’s main aim is to enable children to get back to grass roots — and literally playing outdoors.
We provide 3 trained and skilled workers to come to your school/after school care/youth group and take a group of up to 15 children out for a morning/afternoon session.
We take the children into the outdoors and encourage free play opportunities.
We provide additional activities such as nature walks, shelter, bridge and den building, identifying nature and so on.
We can come to your venue for one morning or afternoon session each week for a period and can help you gauge the benefit the children receive from playing naturally.
